La Pernía is a beautiful mountain territory in the north of Spain, full of history and tradition, with a fantastic gastronomy

In the north of the province of Palencia, in the heart of Montaña Palentina Natural Park, lie a series of small mountain villages steeped in tradition, history, and legend; surrounded by lush nature, verdant valleys, and beautiful peaks whose snowfields feed the numerous rivers and mountain streams that give rise to the Pisuerga River.

La Pernía is a land of bears and romanesque architecture, a border and connecting territory between the town of Cervera de Pisuerga and the Cantabrian valleys of Polaciones, Liébana, and the Picos de Europa. It's a pilgrimage route to Santo Toribio de Liébana along the Camino Lebaniego Castellano. It's an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, enjoying its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and gastronomy.
